The strength of a nation is its unity among its people and federating units. An integrated and united nation stands on a common ideology that drives people to struggle for common goals in a defined direction. This unity of ideology, people, work-force and struggles leads a country to the true heights of success. On contrary, countries which are divided on the basis of ideology or other grounds are on the brink of destruction and failure. Such countries lack homogeneity in taking uniform actions thereby fail to gather people and move forward on a common platform. This tears apart the sense of oneness and erodes the sanctity of the institutions thereby decayingnational integration. People get scattered on various grounds thus putting an end to unity and mutual harmony. The institutions cannot perform their roles effectively as people are the true pillars of a state and their division and segregation badly destroys national integration. Such deeply divided countries cannot make significant progress and they decay from within and ultimately fail to sustain their loosely connected social order. Thus, it can, therefore, be asserted that a divided country gets defeated from within and fails due to internal flaws and cleavages.
