Indeed, when a dispute is being dragged, it reflects something inherently wrong. Stalemate in a conflict shows lack of understanding, reluctance to compromise or any other deeply-rooted issue. Although external factors do play role in resolving issues, the Russo-Ukraine war is in its third year. The crisis in Gaza that erupted in October 2023 with the invasion of Hamas on Israel has also reached in its second year. In both cases, the parties involved are fundamentally wrong. Russia is unwilling to compromise on its stance i.e., Ukraine must not join the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). It shows egotism on the part of Russia. Ukraine, on the other hand, is not willing to concede any territories which have been acceded by Russia. These territories are mainly supporters of Ukraine’s rival party. Resultantly, due to lack of compassion for its people, the Ukrainian leadership is responsible for atrocities. Egotistic nature and lack of compassion, coupled with high-handedness, are principally wrong traits, making both parties fundamentally on the wrong side. Similarly, Hamas committed the blunder by invading an enemy hundred times more stronger. The Jewish state, in turn, has committed gruesome atrocities of extreme reprehensibility. This puts both parties on the wrong side. Therefore, it is imperative to resolve the conflicts with urgency. The parties involved should keep aside their principles and do what is right. It will save a lot of lives, and history will remember them in golden words.
